Host: Brittany Bethel
Brittany was born in West Texas and went to college in Georgia. It was there that she connected with the Christian mission organization, Carolina Cross Connection in 2004. Her time participating in CCC’s Access Experiences, dramatically changed how she viewed her call to ministry. After finishing her undergrad and graduate work, she moved to North Carolina and started working full-time at CCC in 2012 in their Honduras program. She became the Executive Director in 2017. Her experiences of coming out in a Christian setting and leading through the pandemic clarified that, as an organization, we had to be clear about who is welcome at the table. Daring Grace is our attempt to tell the story.

Types of Episodes.
We will be recording four types of episodes. We hope you’ll join us every time!
Progress Episodes take a look back and help the community understand and listen in on how we decided to become an affirming and diverse space.
Sharing Episodes focuses on someone from our community. Either a Staff Alumni, Camper, Group Leader, Neighbor, Friend, or Donor.
Up Next Episodes gives an update on the potential for the new ministry God is showing our full-time staff.
What We’re Reading Episodes will be a discussion of the book the Full Time Staff is reading together during that time.
